In the early mentioned reading theory, there are 3 elements of reading activities, including:
1. Projections; readers try to understand the elements outside the text but only to that is congruent to support the presence of the text.
2. Comments; readers try to understand the display contents in text itself. In the comments, the readers undertaken activities are (a) explication, elucidate contents of display that is not understood by way of connecting with contents of display that is understood, (b) elucidation, explain description results of display contents that is not understood in relation to other display contents in general, and (c) precise, which is understood in accordance with the accuracy and its reliability with the contents in other parts of the text itself.
3. Poetical; readers try to understand the rule-abstract principle that there is intrinsically in the text of literature itself. In an effort to understand the meaning contained structure is abstract, there are two activities, namely the description and interpretation.
